Intermediate Diploma in Marketing

Objectives

The general objective of the Marketing Diploma is to prepare students to work efficiently and professionally in specialized jobs in different business sectors in the Kingdom, through the following sub-objectives:

- Qualifying students theoretically and practically in the field of marketing and providing them with the necessary skills in line with the philosophy of the modern marketing concept in the labor market.

- Training students on specialized practical applications to provide them with practical skills and abilities to work efficiently in different business sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Developing students' ability to use information technology in making specialized decisions, and preparing them to use it skillfully in specialized jobs at the direct and support levels in different business sectors in the Kingdom.

- Developing students' ability to understand specialized topics related to marketing, the dilemmas associated with them, and how to deal with them, by providing them with theoretical concepts, and developing their skills and abilities using the concept of hypothetical cases and various practical applications.

- Equip students psychologically and scientifically to deal effectively and efficiently with the expected issues and challenges related to specialized jobs at the direct and support levels in different business sector organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing terms, concepts, principles and techniques.

- Understand current issues and trends in current marketing environments.

- Recognize appropriate methodologies and techniques for marketing research.

- Understand marketing tools and techniques from internal and external perspectives.

- Recognize the role of key customer-facing technologies in marketing processes and practices.

Skill Outputs

- Work effectively in supervisory, individual and group environments.

- Recognize ethical and moral issues related to the marketing profession.

- Demonstrate effective written and oral communication using information technology (e.g. reports, presentations, emails).

- Employ numerical and quantitative skills, including analyzing and interpreting data in analyzing and solving issues.
