HEALTH SCIENCES PROGRAM

The Department of Health Sciences offers five diplomas: the five-semester Radiological Diagnostics Diploma, in which students study all types of radiography under the supervision of qualified professors and technicians who seek to enable students to practice work as technicians and technicians with skill and knowledge. The second diploma is the Medical Laboratory Diploma, which also includes five semesters, at the end of which male and female students can familiarize themselves with the rules of laboratory and laboratory tests that provide knowledge and training in a number of university hospitals and other medical institutions. The third diploma is a five-semester medical records diploma, in which students study the basics of managing medical files and how to deal with them electronically, in addition to dealing with computers in all areas of study in this diploma.

The Department of Health Sciences also includes a medical secretarial diploma, which qualifies its graduates for a distinguished medical secretarial profession due to what is studied and trained properly throughout the study period. This is in addition to the Nursing Diploma, which is a special section for female students only to qualify students efficiently and effectively for the profession of an experienced nurse who is able to manage and care for patients in the largest hospitals due to the serious study and intensive training on scientific bases and long experience for five semesters.

However, at the present time, after the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Health to stop all intermediate diplomas in health specialties, all the diplomas mentioned above were stopped and dried except for the medical secretarial diploma for male and female students.

In addition, there are several health departments under consideration for inclusion in the Department of Health Sciences. The Department of Health Sciences is striving to develop and modernize the department according to the needs of the labor market and society until it reaches the goals set for it, Allah willing.
