With the increasing importance of telecommunications and computer networks and databases as a result of the observed growth for the tasks and duties within different sectors, and the needs of these sectors to link their local and international branches, the Natural and Engineering Sciences' Program has launched Diploma in Communications & Computer Networks and Diploma in Programming and Databases, as a response to the requirements of the marketplace. Therefore, the curriculum for the Communications & Computer Networks Diploma is designed for the provision of students with knowledge and skills needed to work in the field of networking including its installation, maintenance and management, and security, besides assessing its performance. The Diploma of Programming and Databases is also designed to develop students' capacity in this field, and train them in modern programming techniques through intensive practical applications, and the identification of databases in term of their design and maintenance, besides providing students with professional training to deal with different operating systems.
