About the Scientific Research Unit

This unit is responsible for defining research strategies and directions in the college, coordinating the efforts of the parties concerned with scientific research within it, in addition to concluding international cooperation agreements with internationally recognized universities in the field of scientific research in applied studies and community service, attracting internationally distinguished researchers, importing modern technology in the field of applied studies research and community service, developing the relationship with industry, and developing the skills of faculty members in this field.
 

Tasks :
 

  • Holding twinning and international cooperation agreements with internationally recognized universities in the field of scientific research in applied studies and community service.
     
  • Defining research strategies and directions, and coordinating the efforts of those concerned with scientific research within the college.
     
  • Increase the production of scientific research in the college and improve its outputs by supporting and encouraging distinguished scientific research.
     
  • Raising the quality of publication and increasing the number of research papers published in journals under the (ISI) Scientific Information Institute database.
     
  • Motivating researchers to excellence, creativity, innovation and invention.
     
  • Seeking to publish in Science and Nature journals.
     
  • Work to increase the funding attracted to support scientific research in the college.
     
  • Attracting internationally distinguished researchers through recruitment programs - visiting professor, scientist fellowship, twinning, etc.
     
  • Importing modern technology in the field of dental research.
     
  • Developing research partnerships with industry in the field of dental research.
