Center Services and Scientific Research
The Research Center at the College of Applied Studies and Community Service works to encourage scientific research activity in the three disciplines affiliated with the college, namely: Computer Science and Engineering, Administrative and Human Sciences, and Health Sciences, for all faculty members and their equivalents, as well as graduate student researchers.
The center's services are summarized in the following points
- Encouraging academic departments in the college to conduct scientific research, stimulating research cooperation between departments within the college and stimulating cooperation with other colleges within the university to improve the level of the research process.
- Stimulating scientific and research cooperation with entities outside the university to provide distinguished research opportunities for researchers in the college.
- Encouraging faculty members and supporting the publication of scientific research in peer-reviewed journals and participation in local and international scientific conferences.
- Organizing workshops, seminars and awareness lectures in the field of scientific and applied research.
- Utilizing expertise from inside and outside the university to develop the capabilities of faculty members and students in scientific research.
- Providing advice to researchers regarding the regulations and controls of scientific research at the university.
- Preparing periodic reports on scientific research activities in the college and submitting them to His Excellency the Dean of the College.
