Diploma in diagnostic radiation

Goals:

1. Rehabilitation specialists in the field of X-ray and acquiring them the proper scientific and optimal knowledge and skills needed to perform the various X-ray radiation processes in the relevant departments, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with the medical team. 

2. Provide the needed technical staff in the area of X-ray radiation to fill the significant gap in this area of working. 

3. Understand the basic principles and physics of radiation production, and its electrical and electronic properties, and absorption of radiation and its effects. 

4. Developing the knowledge bases for X-ray photos production, and its recording methods, and identifying its errors and methods of treatments in this field. 

5. Support the technical capabilities of the student's practical abilities through scientific theory by identifying the principles and functions of radiation anatomy for the various organs of the body such as motor, urinary and digestive system, and the use of various contrast media in the process of medical diagnosis.

Career Opportunities:

This program provides the opportunity to absorb its graduates as rays technician in public and private hospitals, health centers, medical and scientific laboratories, and quality laboratory. It also offers them with the opportunities to work as technicians in health colleges, and health assistants for faculty in the preparation of practical lessons, and training of students in practice.
