Counseling Areas (Aspects)

Religious Counseling:

The Unit instructs students in all things related to sharia and life. For instance, it calls prayers and stresses the necessity of performing them collectively. It urges students to refrain from smoking, and maintain morals and public code of conduct. It also holds sermons and religious lectures on several different topics every month (the preacher is chosen according to the subject).

Academic Counseling:
The Unit harnesses all its energies to serve students concerning academic matters. It receives students referred to it from other units in order to consider their applications and discuss them with students. It also gives students a clear image of their applications along with guiding them in accordance with rules and statutes. Furthermore, referring units are provided with appropriate advice concerning the applications involved.

Social Counseling:
The unit checks the college's classrooms and corridors so as to control public behavior and morals that govern the educational process. In case of violation, students are reminded to maintain the college's general appearance and public facilities, and not to distort them by graffiti or smoking. Besides, students are called upon not to do any irresponsible acts such as make trouble with instructors, raising their voices or making any noise in classrooms and corridors.

Preventive Counseling:
The unit educates students on safety, security, and exercising caution. To illustrate, students are warned against touching bare wires and smelling volatile toxic substances. Thus, the unit attracts a security or environment expert for educating students on these issues.
